Voted Big 12 Freshman of the Year Hunter was voted in the Freshman of the Year in the Big 12 conference.

Impact Hunter was the easy selection for this honor. He came in right out of the gate and was a difference maker for a team that had just two wins last year. Hunter closes the regular season with averages of 10.8 points, 5.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per contest. The Cyclones will open the Big 12 Tournament on Thursday against Texas Tech.
