William Whorton - Returning to Memphis Whorton is planning on staying at Memphis for the 2026 season, per Jason Munz of CommercialAppeal.com.

Impact Whorton transferred to Memphis from South Dakota State ahead of the 2025 campaign and is now expected to remain at the school for at least one more season. He averaged just 1.8 points and 1.5 rebounds across 9.0 minutes in 19 games during the 2025 season and will look to be more involved during the upcoming campaign.
