Impact Houser started 26-of-32 games in his first and only season at VMI, averaging 10.8 points and five rebounds over 26.2 minutes per contest. With three years of eligibility remaining, the 6-9 freshman will look to establish himself on a familiar role with his new team.

Intends to enter transfer portal Houser intends to enter the NCAA's transfer portal, according to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.com.

Impact Houser enrolled in VMI for the team's 2022-23 season. As a freshman, he averaged 10.8 points and 5.0 rebounds across 32 games (mostly started, 26) as VMI's starting center. Those are promising rates from a young player like him, so he will attempt a transfer to somewhere more valued that could give him similar opportunities.
