Impact Due to a blowout, the freshman from Phoenix saw more minutes Tuesday and he took advantage of his increased time, finishing with 14 points while shooting 66.7 percent from the field. Washington is the Lobos' most effective scorer coming off the bench this season, averaging 7.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game with shooting splits of 44.2/29.7/67.2. Expect the young guard to continue producing off the bench as New Mexico takes on Nevada in the second-round of the Mountain West Tournament on Thursday.
