Doesn't play Saturday
Clark (undisclosed) didn't play in Saturday's win over Temple.
Impact
Clark missed his third game of the season due to an undisclosed injury. In his absence, Jahmar Young saw an increased role off the bench, but he finished with just two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 14 minutes of action.

Not in starting lineup
Clark (undisclosed) is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Tulane.
Impact
It was reported earlier Saturday that Clark is expected to be available against the Green Wave. Despite not being in the starting lineup, Clark could get back on the floor after missing Wednesday's game against USF.

ROTOWIRE
Expected to play
Clark (undisclosed) is expected to play against Tulane on Saturday, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Clark is the big man for a team that does not give much time to its centers. If Clark does play expect him to see around 17 minutes and minimal offensive production.

ROTOWIRE
Doesn't see floor Wednesday
Clark didn't play during Wednesday's game against Tulane.
Impact
Given that Clark has played double-digit minutes in every game he's appeared in, it seems likely the senior missed the contest for some reason rather than just falling out of the rotation. His next chance to suit up arrives Saturday versus Tulane.

Returns Wednesday
Clark (undisclosed) finished with four points (2-3 FG), five rebounds and one block across 14 minutes during Wednesday's 75-66 win over Sam Houston.
Impact
Clark returned to action after missing Monday's contest for undisclosed reasons, but he saw season lows in both points and minutes in this matchup. The Mustangs have three more days on the sidelines before taking on UL-Monroe on Sunday, at which point Clark will hopefully be clear to resume his role as the top frontcourt reserve.

Unable to suit up versus Loyola-Marymount
Clark (undisclosed) did not play in Monday's game against Loyola-Marymount.
Impact
Clark had been a solid piece off the bench this season, averaging 7.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per contest. SMU has a quick turnaround with their next game coming Wednesday against Sam Houston State.

12 points in comeback game
Clark contributed 12 points (6-9 FG), six rebounds and two blocks over 17 minutes during Tuesday's 86-62 victory over McNeese State.
Impact
Clark last saw collegiate action in the 2019-20 season with Baylor, but his season was cut short by a condition that ultimately led to his medical retirement. He changed his mind on that this season and elected to transfer to SMU, where he's already making an immediate impact. This is a player who was once a key contributor at the highest level, so he's worth keeping an eye on in formats that include the American conference.

ROTOWIRE
Fully cleared, per coach
Clark (knee) has been fully cleared for all basketball activities, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Clark hasn't suited up since the 2019-20 season with Baylor, as the 6-10 forward had previously been considered "medically retired" from basketball due to various injuries. He changed his mind this past April, entering the transfer portal and landing at SMU less than a month after that announcement. Clark showed his ceiling back in 2018-19 with the Bears, posting 14.6 points and 6.3 rebounds while serving as the primary center. That role seems likely to remain with Isiah Jasey for the time being, though Clark could prove to be a valuable depth option in the post.

Medically retires from basketball
Clark announced via Twitter that he is medically retiring from basketball on Tuesday.
Impact
Clark was a beast in the 2018-19 season before a knee injury cut his season short. He was able to return at the beginning of last season, but you could tell he just didn't look the same. Clark was projected to take over as the starting center with Freddie Gillespie now gone, but the senior ultimately decided his body just wasn't going to let him do it. Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua, Matthew Mayer, and Flo Thamba should all see an uptick in minutes and production this season on what is projected to be one of the top-three teams in college basketball this season.
