Impact Kaufman-Renn's 27 points were a season high as he went toe-to-toe with Michigan's elite big men, Aday Mara and Yaxel Lendeborg. At first, the Wolverines and particularly Mara owned the paint, but Kaufman-Renn was able to make up some ground as the game wore on and the Boilermakers inched closer. It ultimately wasn't enough for a win, and the forward's inefficient night certainly didn't help, but it was a valiant effort against what could be the best front court in the sport.

It was a good showing for Kaufamn-Renn after a string of relatively quiet outings, and he'll look to stay hot Sunday at Maryland.
