Impact BYU may have been dealt its second loss of the season, but it was by no fault of Knell, who was electric from distance and scored nearly half the team's points. After missing all of last season with a shoulder injury, Kneel is has been back in full force, and his 12.9 ppg scoring average is good for second on the team behind Jaxson Robinson (15.2 ppg). He's always been known as an outside scoring threat, but his 46.5 percent success rate from distance -- on 6.1 attempts per contest, no less -- is one of the elite marks in all of college basketball.

Impact Knell's sharpshooting was on display early as he hit all four of his threes in the first half of Wednesday's blowout. After missing all of last season due to a shoulder injury, Knell has started each of the first three games for BYU, averaging 14.7 points while shooting 10-for-21 (47.6%) from behind the arc.

Impact Knell was a significant rotation player in the last two seasons for BYU, providing depth on the wing and serving as a reliable three-point shooter. Unfortunately, he has yet to appear this season for the Cougars and will presumably now look ahead to his two seasons of remaining eligibility.

He's been mainly used as a three-point specialist for the Cougars this season.
