Mason Nicholson - Plays nine minutes in debut Nicholson (illness) ended with two points (1-1 FG), one rebound and one steal over nine minutes during Thursday's 109-74 victory over Texas Southern.
Impact Nicholson made his season debut after transferring from Jacksonville State. He averaged 7.5 points and 7.4 rebounds last season, so he should be able to provide some quality depth for the Commodore frontcourt.

Impact Washington has yet to play more than 19 points, but he is providing nice depth for Vanderbilt. He has three games of six rebounds and the UNC transfer is seeing a few more minutes than he did at Chapel Hill. He would be able to step in if Devin McGlockton gets injured.

Tyler Nickel - Drops 20 in win Nickel totaled 20 points (6-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 27 minutes during Thursday's 109-74 win over Texas Southern.
Impact Nickel equaled his season high set in the opener on Nov. 3. He has been held to single-digit scoring just one through five games. The 6-7 senior is converting 47.2 percent of his 3-pointers after hitting 40.5 percent from long range last year. He will continue to be part of the potent Commodore offense.

Impact Nicholson, who has yet to play this season due to an illness, is warming up pregame Thursday. That alone does not guarantee he will suit up, but he is certainly trending in that direction.

Impact Collins will now miss back-to-back games with a minor ankle injury. The senior guard will aim for a return next Wednesday at Western Kentucky. He averaged 9.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 3.7 steals across his first three outings of the season.
