The sophomore guard only has nine assists in conference play. He will look to play a bit better on Tuesday against Mississippi State. Philon averaged 7.5 points and 3.5 assists in a pair of wins over the Bulldogs last season.

Impact Sherrell sat out the Tide's loss to Vanderbilt on Wednesday, but was able to play his usual complement of minutes as the team lost consecutive games for the first time this season. The 6-11 sophomore scored in double digits for just the second time in his last nine games. He is averaging 9.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks (second in the SEC).
