Bryce Thompson - 14 points off bench Thompson came off the bench and provided 14 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt) and three rebounds in a rout of UT-Arlington on Tuesday.
Impact It was a bit unclear on how the former five-star recruit would fit into Oklahoma State's rotation after coming over from Kansas in the offseason. While Thompson did not start, he played the second-most minutes on the team and had the most shot attempts. We will likely have to see a few more games to know how head coach Mike Boynton will handle the backcourt rotation, but Thompson could certainly prove to be a factor at some point this season if he keeps this up.

Avery Anderson - Contributes across board in rout Anderson put up 13 points (4-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, four rebounds, three steals, and a block in a rout of UT-Arlington on Tuesday.
Impact Anderson showed the ability to command the offense with Cade Cunningham no longer in the fold. The junior is in position to really put together a big season and start to be known on a national level. Anderson should be tested a bit more against Oakland on Friday.

Moussa Cisse - Big game in opener Cisse notched a game-high 17 points (7-8 FG, 3-6 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and a steal in Tuesday's win over UT-Arlington.
Impact The Memphis transfer fit in great right away for the Cowboys, coming just one rebound shy of a double-double in a dominant debut. He did all that in just 18 minutes, but should play more than that on Friday against Oakland who took West Virginia down to the wire in their opener.

Chris Harris - Fails to see court in opener Harris (knee) did not take part in Tuesday's 88-45 victory over UT-Arlington.
Impact While Harris was spotted in warmups during exhibition play, the Cowboys don't seem to be comfortable deploying the 6-2 guard quite yet. 13 players were ultimately used in this contest, so if healthy, Harris likely would have at least seen a little run. His next chance to take the court will be Friday against Oakland.

Kalib Boone - Logs DNP in opener Boone (shoulder) did not take the court in Tuesday's 88-45 victory over UT-Arlington.
Impact Boone will presumably have a meaningful role when healthy, as he started 24 of 30 games last season that resulted in averages of 9.4 points and 5.4 rebounds. In the meantime, Moussa Cisse drew the start at center and lead the team in both scoring (17) and rebounding (9). The next chance for Boone to suit up will be Friday against Oakland, but with another lopsided affair expected, it wouldn't be shocking to see him used conservatively, if at all.

Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe - Not starting opener Moncrieffe is not in the starting five for Tuesday's opener against UT-Arlington.
Impact Moncrieffe started 14 of a possible 28 games for the Cowboys last season and was at one point thought to be in contention for point guard minutes this season, especially with Bryce Williams suspended for opening night (and likely beyond). He won't crack the starting five for now, at least, with coach Mike Boynton instead rolling out Avery Anderson, Rondel Walker, Isaac Likekele, Donovan Williams and Moussa Cisse.
