Leaves Nebraska Allen left Nebraska's program Monday, Mitch Sherman of The Athletic reports.

Impact Allen, who was averaging 16.5 points per game this season, said that he left the program "to focus on getting fully healthy in preparation for the next step in my basketball journey." Allen has reportedly dealt with a wrist injury for much of the season, though it didn't cost him any playing time -- the only game he did miss, Feb. 8, was for disciplinary reasons. The Cornhuskers will now need to find a replacement shooting guard.

Limited by wrist issue Allen was limited to 10 minutes off the bench in Saturday's victory over Nebraska, going scoreless on 0-for-3 from the field but picking up two steals and two assists.

Impact According to Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald, Allen has been battling a wrist injury for quite some time, and it can flare up if he gets hit in the wrong way. That appears to be what's happening here, as Allen only played 20 minutes Thursday against Illinois before logging a season-low in minutes played Saturday. It's a tough break for fantasy players who added Allen on the heels of a 41-point effort last Tuesday, as it will be tough to count on that type of performance again if the junior is less than 100 percent.
