Jaylen Petty - On fire from downtown Petty posted 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt) and three rebounds over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 73-65 loss to TCU.
Impact Petty matched a season high by connecting on five triples at a season-best 71.4-percent clip, though the Red Raiders suffered just their second home loss in conference play. It was the best scoring performance for Petty since he tallied 18 back on Jan 24 against Houston. While the freshman guard has started each of the last 18 contests, the recent loss of JT Toppin has thrust Petty into a more important role, now needed to step up as the third scorer behind Christian Anderson and Donovan Atwell. Thus far, Petty has done his part, averaging 12.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 52.0-percent from beyond the arc over the past four games.

Impact Robinson scored 15, the fifth time in eight games he's reached or exceeded that mark, but it was his work on the defensive end that had the biggest impact for the Horned Frogs, swiping a season-high six during the big road win.
