Impact Robinson caught fire from long range, draining a season-high four triples on just six attempts en route to a team-leading 18 points during TCU's first-round win over the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-6 sophomore is a 33.3-percent shooter from downtown on the season but has lifted that percentage to 38.0 over the last 12 with averages of 13.2 points, 4.7 boards and 1.3 steals during that stretch. He'll look to keep the momentum rolling into Saturday's round of 32 matchup with Duke, though the sledding will likely be notably tougher against the top overall seed in the tournament.

Impact Edmonds finished two rebounds shy of his 12th double double over the last 16 contests but his most important contribution came when he put home a go-ahead layup with four ticks on the clock that proved to be the difference in TCU's first-round win. The junior forward was limited to 25 minutes due to foul trouble but rebounded from a five-point effort during TCU's loss to Kansas in the Big 12 tournament to score at least 15 points for the 14th time this season. Edmonds had been averaging just 9.3 points and 5.0 rebounds over the past three games but in the 12 prior games had posted marks of 16.3 points and 10.3 boards. He'll need to have another big outing if TCU is to have a chance to advance past Duke and reach the round of 16.

Impact Punch put forth a huge effort in controlling the paint against the Buckeyes, matching a season high by racking up 13 boards while also adding three rejections, the 10th time this season he's sent away three or more shots. Punch's performance resulted in his fifth double double of the season and played a key role in helping TCU advance into the round of 32. Including the two games TCU played in the Big 12 tournament, the 6-foot-7 sophomore forward has had a huge postseason thus far, averaging 22.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks with two double doubles while shooting 56.1-percent from the floor and even converting on 3-of-5 attempts from beyond the arc.
