Jaiden Delaire - Coming off bench Tuesday Delaire will come off the bench Tuesday against Tarleton State.

Impact Delaire started in 21 of 24 appearances for the Cardinals in 2020-21, but he'll open this season off the bench. He averaged 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 27.3 minutes, so he still figures to be a significant part of Stanford's rotation.

Max Murrell - Starting opener Murrell is starting in Tuesday's season opener against Tarleton State.

Impact Murrell will make his first career start for the Cardinal after appearing in 21 games off the bench as a freshman last season. The 6-9 forward averaged just 2.3 points and 0.9 rebounds in eight minutes per contest but has an appealing opportunity to significantly improve those numbers in a starting role to kick off the new campaign.
