Impact Francis came back down to earth a bit in Rutgers' loss. After he had scored at least 23 points in three straight games, the junior guard was limited to 12 points against UCLA. He had solid efficiency, however, and canned another two three-pointers. It wasn't nearly enough to prevent a blowout loss for the Scarlet Knights' sixth-straight defeat, but Francis has been a force to be reckoned with since the Calendar flipped to January, averaging 20.2 points in that span.

Impact Despite coming off the bench since late-December, Francis has been one of the few consistent offensive options for the Scarlet Knights. Since that move became essentially permanent, the junior transfer from NJIT has averaged 20.8 ppg over an eight-game stretch that includes three efforts of 30 or more. He's taken nearly 15 shots per game through that run and converting them at a success rate of 44.5 percent. Rutgers is essentially in a rebuilding year with a 9-10 record on the season and 2-6 mark in Big Ten play, but Francis has more than shown he can be a reliable fantasy option that carries a high ceiling for any given game.

Impact Francis now has two 30-point outings in his last four games. Shockingly, being sent to the bench has apparently unleashed a new version of the guard, one who's averaging 25.0 points per game since relegated to the bench. He's also been much more involved in the offense over that span, averaging nearly 15 shots per game. Francis is worth keeping an eye on, as he appears to be developing into one of the better sixth men in the conference.

Impact Francis was recently removed from Rutgers' starting five, and it's paying dividends for his production. The guard dropped 34 points against Penn on Dec. 20, and followed that up by being the Scarlet Knights' leading scorer once again on Monday night. Francis has been one of the more consistent weapons for Rutgers, averaging 13.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
