Impact Eason undoubtedly benefitted from the absence of projected rotation regulars Darius Days, Xavier Pinson, Efton Reid and Justice Williams, but the Cincinnati transfer showed he can take over a game when called upon. It remains to be seen if Eason will lock down a starting spot on a roster with plenty of returning and incoming talent, but he certainly made a case for himself here. Regardless, he should be a productive rotation player after averaging 7.3 points and 5.9 rebounds through 23 games (eight starts) with the Bearcats last season.
