The reason behind Cherry's absence remains unclear, but he doesn't appear poised for a return anytime in the near future. His absence from the floor will be felt, as the junior was entrenched in the rotation as a double-digit minutes contributor early in the season, averaging 16 minutes per game over the first seven.
