Makaih Williams - Contributes 16 off bench
Williams notched 16 points (6-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and five assists over 21 minutes during Saturday's 82-61 victory over Coastal Carolina.
Impact
It was a strong all-around performance for the junior, who actually came off the bench for the second contest in a row after starting the previous six. Williams has played 28 and 21 minutes, respectively, in those last two games, though, so he's clearly still playing a role. For the year, he's scoring 10.7 points per contest.

Caleb Shaw - Another big scoring day in win
Shaw supplied 18 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 28 minutes during Saturday's 82-61 win over Coastal Carolina.
Impact
Shaw logged his second straight start as the Antelopes took on Coastal Carolina, and he proved why he deserves to play with the first five as he recorded 18 points off a 54.5 field-goal percentage. In his two games playing with the starters, the junior guard has recorded 18 or more points and committed just two total turnovers. He'll look to stay hot at Wyoming next Saturday.

Nana Owusu-Anane - Plays in romp of Chanticleers
Owusu-Anane produced 11 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and three assists in Grand Canyon's 82-61 win over Coastal Carolina.
Impact
Owusu-Anane hurt his foot in the loss to Oklahoma State, which threw his status for Saturday into question. The forward got the start and played 25 minutes, however, showing no sign of an issue with his foot or otherwise. The Brown transfer has fit in rather seamlessly with the Lopes.

Nana Owusu-Anane - Suffers foot injury Saturday
Owusu-Anane (foot) exited Saturday's contest against Oklahoma State in the second half due to a foot injury and did not return, per Paul Coro of GCULopes.com.
Impact
Owusu-Anane was forced out of the contest against Oklahoma State after just 18 minutes due to the injury and was not able to return to the floor for the Lopes. The 6-foot-8 forward has been an impact player for GCU this season, averaging 9.3 points adn 10.2 rebounds per game across nin contests. With no current update on his status, Owusu-Anane can be looked at as questionable for Saturday's matchup against Coastal Carolina.

Brian Moore Jr. - Plays off bench
Moore (face) produced seven points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 17 minutes during Saturday's 78-64 loss to Saint Louis.
Impact
Moore missed Grand Canyon's previous game due to the lasting effects of a knee he took to the face. However, the point guard was cleared to face St. Louis on Saturday, albeit in a limited fashion. He started and played over 30 minutes in each of his first two games this season, but came off the bench Saturday.

Williams totaled 15 points (5-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, two assists and three steals in 24 minutes during Monday's 88-59 victory over Northern Illinois.
Impact
The junior point guard started for the first time this season and continued his hot shooting streak, as he's now 7-12 from beyond the arc through three games. Williams may not remain in the starting lineup once Brian Moore (face) returns, but he has played at least 13 minutes in every game so far.

Nana Owusu-Anane - Double-double in win
Owusu-Anane supplied 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Monday's 88-59 victory over Northern Illinois.
Impact
The senior forward recorded his second double-double in the last two games. It's perhaps not surprising for a player who averaged 10 or more points and eight or more rebounds in each of the last two college seasons (2022-23 and 2023-24) that he played in, both at Brown.

ROTOWIRE
Brian Moore - Won't play Monday
Moore (face) has been ruled out for Monday's game against NIU, Brennan Williams of Go Lopes Radio reports.
Impact
Per Richard Obert of Azcentral Sports, Moore took a knee to the face in GCU's previous game, and he's considered day-to-day. His absence should open up more opportunities for Makaih Williams. Moore's next chance to play will come Saturday at Saint Louis.
