NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — Shannon Bogues knocked down 21 points while dishing out a career-best six assists to help Stephen F. Austin fight off NAIA's Texas Wesleyan for an 83-71 win on Tuesday night.

Bogues was 4 of 6 from beyond the arc. Davonte Fitzgerald added 14 points with Kevon Harris, Nathan Bain and Karl Nicholas all chipping in 10 points for the Lumberjacks.

Texas Wesleyan took a 39-37 lead into the break and pushed that to 43-38 in the second half before the Lumberjacks came charging back, outscoring the Rams 46-32 in the second half. Bogues had a layup on a fast break to tie the score at 43-43, then Bain slammed home a dunk as SFA rolled in the final 20 minutes.

Five players finished in double digits for the Rams, too, with Juwan Jones scoring 12 and Rob Thomas making 11 while recording nine assists. Diing Lwal Diing, Julian Torres and Joe Cook-Green had 10 points apiece.
