Chase Ross - Scoring surge in game one Ross chipped in 23 points (9-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Monday's 102-62 victory over Stony Brook.
Impact Ross started just 10 of his 32 games played last season for the Golden Eagles, but he looks to have a pretty solid role with the team even though Marquette took on a lesser opponent versus Stony Brook. The junior guard trailed in points only to star player Kam Jones, and the pair look to be a promising scoring duo as the season develops.

Sean Jones - Sits out opener Jones (knee) did not take the court in Marquette's season-opening victory over Stony Brook.
Impact The team has been relatively quiet on a prospective return for Jones, who was growing into one of Marquette's top reserves and a solid ball handler before tearing his ACL in January. His next chance to return will be Friday against George Mason, but as long as the team remains mum on his status, it won't be safe to deploy him in any formats.

Tre Norman - Logs 16 minutes in opener Norman (shoulder) contributed two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal in 16 minutes during Monday's 102-62 victory over Stony Brook.
Impact Norman suffered a shoulder injury in early-October, and while there had been little in terms of updates leading up to the season opener, he was still able to play and record the third-highest minutes total among Marquette reserves. The sophomore should see a minutes bump from the 9.0 mpg he logged a season ago across 34 games, but that may not be enough to get a spot on the fantasy radar in 2024-25.

Kam Jones - Drops 32 to kick off 2024-25 Jones contributed 32 points (14-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt), one rebound, three assists and one steal in 26 minutes during Monday's 102-62 win over Stony Brook.
Impact Jones was fully expected to be the leading scorer for Marquette this season, but this type of efficiency -- even against a lesser opponent -- was a welcome surprise that bodes well for his fantasy outlook. He even seems to have a scoring mate in Chase Ross (23 points) to help take some of the pressure off. The next chance for Jones to suit up will be Friday against George Mason.

Al Amadou - Planning to redshirt Amadou (undisclosed) is planning on redshirting the 2024-25 season, Ben Steele of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Head coach Shaka Smart said he plans to redshirt Amadou. It's currently unclear what injury Amadou is dealing with. He appeared in 14 games last season, averaging 1.2 points and 0.4 rebounds in 3.6 minutes per game.
