Impact Mitchell was a consistent contributor on all facets of the court in the ugly win over the Blue Devils, and he scored the second-most points for the Golden Eagles to top it off. Although Marquette shot 4-for-25 from the three, the senior guard stayed within the arc and was consistent in doing so. His gritty playmaking style as served well for his squad so far, and he'll have to continue to be solid on both sides of the court against some tough opponents moving forward.

Impact Mitchell posted a career-high shooting performance in the away win over the Bulldogs, leading the entire Golden Eagles squad in points. The senior guard now has logged back-to-back 20-plus point performances and also has 12 steals in his last four outings. His huge performances as of late have aided the Marquette squad consistently on the defensive side all season, but his recent scoring boost has made him even more valuable. His efforts will most definitely be needed as the team takes on UConn at home this Saturday.

Impact It was a tough shooting day for Mitchell and the entire Marquette squad -- a unit that posted a season-low scoring total resulting in its first Big East loss. Even with a couple of down scoring games for Mitchell, he continues to produce in ancillary categories to keep his fantasy floor high. For example, his four steals Thursday built on a Big East-leading 2.6 spg season average. Mitchell and the Golden Eagles next head to Seton Hall on Tuesday, representing a strong bounce-back opportunity given the Pirates are one of the softer defenses in the conference.

Impact Mitchell excelled on the offensive side in a game that the Golden Eagles made a lot closer than they should have. The third-year starter hasn't been a huge scorer so far in his career, mostly doing the little things for Marquette like playing lockdown defense against guards, but he did pull through when it mattered against the Chippewas. The senior still doesn't look to be primed as the main scorer for the team this year, but he could definitely surpass his 2023-24 campaign's 8.8 points per game
