Damarius Owens - DNP Saturday Owens (illness) did not appear in Saturday's 86-84 overtime loss against St. John's due to illness, Matthew Baltz of Marquettewire.org reports.
Impact Owens missed his first game since November as the Golden Eagles were taken down by the Red Storm during Saturday's regular season finale. The 6-foot-7 freshman, who is averaging 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists on 10.1 minutes per game this season (27 games), will look to return as Marquette opens up their Big East tournament run this Thursday against Xavier.

Ben Gold - Big 13 points even in loss Gold ended with 13 points (4-11 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 86-84 OT loss to St. John's.
Impact Gold put together a solid performance stat-wise against the Johnnies, but he did struggle to make some important threes that could have put the Golden Eagles ahead at the end. Nonetheless, he did still finish with a ten-game best seven rebounds, and his best block, steal total since Jan. 7. He has shown sparks of good paint presence in the latter half of the season, but he'll need to solidify his play for the conference tournament starting this upcoming Thursday versus Xavier.
MARCH 9, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Simeon Wilcher - 13 points in fill-in start Wilcher registered 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one block in 41 minutes during Saturday's 86-84 OT victory over Marquette.
Impact With Deivon Smith (shoulder) out for the regular season finale, Wilcher filled in and produced in the overtime win. The sophomore guard had an eleven-game best in points, but he also provided solid play on the defensive side of the ball again. He should be primed for a lot of playing time if not a start as the Big East Tournament kicks off this upcoming week.
MARCH 9, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Kam Jones - 32 points not enough Jones supplied 32 points (14-30 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 44 minutes during Saturday's 86-84 OT loss to St. John's.
Impact Jones played nearly every minute of the OT affair and saw his highest number of field-goal attempts while matching his season-best scoring total. Unfortunately it was not enough for the Golden Eagles, who have stumbled a bit down the stretch, losing back-to-back games and three of their last five to close out the regular season. Marquette will carry the No. 5 seed into the Big East tournament and will open up Thursday with a matchup against Xavier, though the team is still tournament-bound regardless of the result.
MARCH 8, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Zuby Ejiofor - Hits game-winner in OT Ejiofor supplied 17 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-9 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 38 minutes during Saturday's 86-84 OT win over Marquette.
Impact Ejiofor will close out the regular season with back-to-back double-doubles after recording seven over the first 29 games of the year. Saturday's effort will be remembered for his late-game heroics, however, as the junior center hit the game-winner in overtime as the clock expired. Next up is the Big East tournament, where St. John's will hold the No. 1 seed.
MARCH 8, 2025 ROTOWIRE
RJ Luis - Monster effort in road win Luis chipped in 28 points (10-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and 11 rebounds across 38 minutes during Saturday's 86-84 OT win over Marquette.
Impact St. John's found itself in a back-and-forth battle against a tough Marquette team on the road, and it needed every bit of Luis' second-best scoring total of the year. The junior will close out the regular season with a career-high and team-best 18.1 ppg scoring average, and he'll look to keep it up in next week's Big East tournament, where St. John's will enter with the top seed.
MARCH 8, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Kadary Richmond - Triple-double in OT win Richmond chipped in 10 points (5-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 12 rebounds, 11 assists and four steals across 42 minutes during Saturday's 86-84 OT win over Marquette.
Impact It was the second career triple-double for Richmond and first of the 2024-25 season, and the effort came in a Quad 1 road victory. St. John's has now won six in a row and 16 of its last 17, and Richmond has averaged 14.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists during that stretch. Next up is the Big East tournament, where the Red Storm will enter with the top seed.
