Impact Koa Peat dominated an outmatched South Dakota State squad by accumulating a career-best 14 rebounds to go along with 19 points in collecting his second double double of the campaign. The talented freshman had cooled a bit in recent games after a hot start to the season, haivng totaled no more than 11 points or five rebounds across his previous four contests but was able to put together his best stat line since opening night to help lead top-ranked Arizona to an undefeated showing during the non-conference slate. Peat will enter Saturday's initial Big-12 clash against Utah with averages of 14.2 points, 5.6 boards and 2.8 assists across 26.7 minutes per contest.
