Gregory Jackson - Goes for double-double in first game Jackson finished Tuesday's 80-77 victory over South Carolina State with 18 points (7-15 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 33 minutes.
Impact Jackson looked in one game like he is already comfortable at the collegiate level. South Carolina ran much of their offense through the 6-9 freshman who primarily operated at the center position. It will be interesting to see what they decided to do when Benjamin Bosmans-Verdonk comes back, as Jackson and Hayden Brown looked strong in their small-ball front court.

Hayden Brown - Game-high 21 points in win Brown totaled 21 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-12 FT), five rebounds, one block and one steal over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 80-77 win over South Carolina State.
Impact Brown had been battling an undisclosed injury recently, but you couldn't tell with how he played in the opener as he led all scorers. Brown is in positions to really make an impact on a South Carolina team that lacks a lot of depth. Brown averaged 18.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 three-pointers per contest last season with the Citadel. He and freshman GG Jackson should form a fascinating combination in the frontcourt this season.

Benjamin Bosmans-Verdonk - DNP vs. South Carolina State Bosmans-Verdonk (foot) did not play during an 80-77 win Tuesday versus South Carolina State.
Impact As expected, Bosmans-Verdonk was not healthy to play. GG Jackson and Josh Gray were South Carolina's centers Tuesday. Bosmans-Verdonk will try to be healthy before the team hosts Clemson on Friday.
