Impact After starting the first five games of the season for Duquesne with mixed results, Carry announced Sunday that he would be leaving the basketball program. It didn't take long for the junior to announce he'd be taking his talents to the MAC conference to play for a Kent State team featuring five seniors in the rotation. Carry opened his collegiate career with back-to-back seasons averaging 12-plus points per game, but the ceiling will be even higher due to the likelihood of seeing more volume with the Flashes.

Plans to transfer Carry informed the team that he will be transferring from the program, Mike Vukovcan of Pittsburgh Sports Now reports.
Impact Despite being the team's starting point guard this season, there were reports that Carry was unhappy where he was at and there was some speculation that his attitude may have been affecting his play. Carry averaged 13.5 points through his first two games but that average quickly went down to just six points per game over the next three. The team should continue to operate with Tavian Dunn-Martin as their starting point guard moving forward. Carry's close friend on the team Lamar Norman also recently announced his intentions to transfer so it's possible the two could decide to head to the same place together.

Out indefinitely Carry has decided to take some time away from the program due to undisclosed reasons and will be out indefinitely, Zachary Weiss of Pittsburgh Sports Now reports.
Impact Carry's decision to step away from the program is a massive blow as the 6-1 junior has started every game since arriving in 2018. Carry has a career average of 11.9 points and 5.4 assists per game with the Dukes and his absence will allow for Tavian Dunn-Martin and Tyson Acuff for extended minutes.
