Kadary Richmond - Expected back for Big East tourney Richmond left Saturday's game against Creighton after re-spraining his thumb, but head coach Kevin Willard anticipates him returning for the start of the Big East Tournament, Adam...
Impact Richmond logged just four minutes in Saturday's contest before a thumb injury forced him from the floor for the remainder of the game. Jamir Harris filled in admirably in his absence and would presumably start should Richmond's thumb not heal up as expected, but it sounds as though Richmond should be back in the lineup when the Pirates kick off their Big East tournament title pursuit.

Kadary Richmond - Will not return Saturday Richmond (hand) will not return to the floor after sustaining a hand injury Saturday.
Impact Richmond failed to score on 0-2 shooting from the field, but tallied one rebound and one assist before the end of the first half, when he was removed from the game. His next chance to return is Wednesday for the start of the Big East tournament.

Kadary Richmond - On sidelines with hand wrapped Richmond departed Saturday's game with an apparent right hand or wrist injury and returned to the bench with his right hand wrapped, Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com reports.
Impact This doesn't bode well for Richmond's chances of returning to the game Saturday and could be a major blow for the Pirates if the injury forces him to miss additional time. The sophomore has been the primary facilitator on offense this season, especially following Bryce Aiken's concussion problems that will prevent him from playing again. Assuming Richmond is done for the day as it appears, his status will be worth monitoring in the Big East tournament, which begins Wednesday. Prior to his exit, Richmond was only able to compile a rebound and an assist for Seton Hall.
