Limited use in Pirates debut Jackson played three minutes off the bench Sunday in Seton Hall's 80-77 overtime loss to Providence, accruing one foul and no other statistics.
Impact The Missouri transfer was available to make his Pirates debut Sunday after the NCAA recently granted a blanket waiver to all players who changed schools during the offseason. With head coach Kevin Willard running a tight rotation in the closely-contested conference game, however, Jackson didn't have much of an opportunity to get his feet wet. Jackson could see his role expand a bit as the season rolls along, but since he averaged only 8.1 minutes per game with Missouri in 2019-20, don't expect a huge jump in playing time while he suits up for another high-major program.

Impact Mamukelashvili had an underwhelming performance in the win Thursday. The forward surprisingly led Seton Hall in points, but this just shows how unpredictable the Pirates have been so far this season. Typically you do not see your best shooter going under .500 on the night and still leading the team in points. He did manage to string together multiple rebounds and assists, but needs to hammer out his shooting errors. Until he is able to do so, he is hard to rely on when it comes to needing points.

Impact Though Aiken was dressed prior to the tilt, head coach Kevin Willard didn't confirm whether or not he would actually see the court. The Harvard transfer was indeed able to return, though he only played 12 minutes. He will look to play a larger role Sunday against Providence.

Impact Aiken dressing is encouraging considering that Willard said last week that he didn't anticipate the guard returning "anytime soon." Whether or not he will actually play against the Golden Eagles is to be seen. If he doesn't see the court Thursday, his next chance to return will be Sunday against Providence.
