Impact McNeil replaced Taz Sherman in the starting five for the second game in a row, and he once again made a strong case for a permanent spot on the top unit. After erupting for a season-high 26 points in a win over Texas Tech on Tuesday, McNeil cleared the 20-point mark again thanks to some hot shooting from long range. The junior guard is now averaging 2.3 three-pointers per game on the season, converting them at a robust 38.8 percent clip.

The 6-3 junior has had inconsistent stretches of scoring and has recently been vastly outplayed by Sherman. McNeil has not played under 22 minutes all year long as he'll still be in line for his fair share of playing time.
