Game-high 24 points McNeil dropped a game-high 24 points (8-12 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added two rebounds in the loss to Kansas on Tuesday.
Impact McNeil got off to a red hot start, hitting his first six shots from behind the arc and posting 20 points in the first half. Things were not as easy for the Mountaineers in the second half, however, as the offense sputtered and Kansas pulled away. McNeil is averaging 11.6 points and 2.0 three-pointers per contest this season. His team will need him to shoot well throughout the season if they are going to be at their best. West Virginia will face Buffalo next Tuesday.
