Noah Horchler - Double-double to start season Horchler had 10 points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 80-73 victory over Fairfield.

Impact Horchler started the final nine games last season for the Friars, averaging 11.3 points and 8.7 rebounds over that stretch. It appears he's back in his role as the starting power forward and has already been productive out of the gates. He and Nate Watson should continue to rack up numbers in the Providence frontcourt, especially in a desirable matchup against Sacred Heart this Thursday.

Nate Watson - Tallies 22 in opener Watson registered 22 points (10-14 FG, 2-5 FT), six rebounds, four blocks and one steal across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 80-73 win over Fairfield.

Impact Fairfield gave the Friars a bit more than they bargained for in this contest, which led to Watson playing a full allotment of minutes while leading the team in scoring. He looks to be picking up right where he left off from a 2020-21 campaign that saw him average a career-best 16.9 ppg.
