Impact Anderson put together his best outing of the season Monday, setting season highs in steals (three), field goals made (10) and three-pointers made (five). He also tied season highs in assists and rebounds, not to mention the fact that he led the Musketeers in scoring despite coming off the bench. Through nine games Anderson has proven an ability to explode with big performances, but he also can go silent, evidenced by his four games this season with single digit points.

Impact Anderson moved to the bench Tuesday with All Wright taking his place in the starting five. It did not matter much as Anderson scored 20 points, making him one of four Musketeers (including Wright) to score exactly 20 in the win. He also grabbed a season-high five rebounds and recorded three assists for the third time this season. He was very efficient in the scoring department, hitting four of his five three-pointers and shooting 70 percent from the floor. It's unclear if Anderson or Wright will continue to start, but Anderson has established a significant role in the Musketeers' rotation regardless of his place in the starting five.

Impact Anderson and forward Tre Carroll (21 points on 7-for-12 FG) were responsible for nearly the entirety of Xavier's offense in the unfortunate home loss, as the duo accounted for nearly 74 percent of the team's total points. The senior guard's role has been inconsistent thus far, but Monday represented season highs in minutes, scoring and shots attempted through three games. As Xavier looks to find its identity under new head coach Richard Pitino, Anderson at least appears to have the tools to be a go-to scorer and reliable fantasy asset. He'll look to continue that momentum into Friday's matchup at Iowa.

The young guard could be coming alive at the right time as Boise State starts gearing up for the Mountain West Tournament.

Given how the 6-foot-2 guard performed throughout his first collegiate campaign, he could easily draw interest from some power-five programs while in the transfer portal.
