GAME LOG

Full clearance expected soon Isaacs (knee) is on track to be fully cleared by September and probable for Texas A&M's preseason activities, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact It appears that not long after Isaacs was cleared for a hip injury, another health problem arose. Fortunately for him, he is not expected to miss any time. Texas A&M's regular season begins in November, so full clearance and acclimation before then should allow him to smoothly begin his TAMU career when the campaign comes. But for the time being, there is still recovery work to be done on his part.
AUGUST 27, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Cleared to return Isaacs (hip) is fully cleared for basketball-related activities, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Just a little over one month after flipping his commitment from Houston to Texas A&M, Issacs is ready to go for TAMU's 2025-26 season. As one of Creighton's primary guards, he flourished, logging 16.3 points and 2.9 three-pointers made per game on 41.0/38.3/86.2 shooting splits. He also averaged 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists, truly versatile production. However, the question is how much Isaacs' production will translate to the SEC and Texas A&M, in what could be a tougher conference and for a new team.

Flips commitment to Texas A&M Isaacs (hip) has flipped his commitment to Texas A&M, according to Nick Kosko of On3.com.
Impact Isaacs looked to replace Milos Uzan at Houston. That was until the latter withdrew from the 2025 NBA Draft, and because of how he proved himself this past season, there was no way Isaacs would take over a starting position in that case. So, he has flipped his commitment to his next-best option, and Kosko's announcement indicates that such an option was Texas A&M.
MAY 27, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Lands with Houston Isaacs (hip) has committed to joining Houston foe the 2025-26 campaign, Tobias Bass of The Athletic reports.
Impact Isaacs had his season cut short after going down with a hip injury, which ended his only year with Creighton rather abruptly. The junior guard averaged 16.3. points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists on 31.8 minutes over eight appearances (eight starts).

Swapping teams in offseason Isaacs has entered the transfer portal, Jeff Goodman of TheFieldof68.com reports.
Impact Isaacs was limited to eight games in the 2024-25 season due to injuries, but there's no question he was productive when available. He averaged 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game in those eight outings, so he should command tons of interest in the portal ahead of his senior year.

His six three-point makes also were a season-high, propelling his scoring abilities even further. The junior guard is averaging 22.7 points in the team's last three games, and is averaging 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists on the year. 12 points in first game of season Isaacs finished with 12 points (4-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes during Sunday's 96-70 win over FDU.
Impact Isaacs was a game-time decision heading into Creighton's second matchup of the year after missing the season-opener win with an undisclosed injury. He was luckily able to make his first start against the Knights, and he put together a solid performance in the blowout. The junior guard is primed to be a focal point of the Bluejays' offense this season, and his efforts even in an easy win showed he could have some big contributing performances ahead.

Pop Isaacs misses season opener for No. 15 Creighton against UT-Rio Grande Valley because of injury

Creighton starting guard Pop Isaacs is being held out of the 15th-ranked Bluejays’ opener against UT-Rio Grande Valley with an undisclosed injury
NOVEMBER 7, 2024 • Associated Press
Will miss opener Isaacs (undisclosed) is set to miss Creighton's opener against UT Rio-Grande Valley, Jon Walker of the Omaha World-Herald reports.
Impact It's unclear why Isaacs is unavailable for Creighton in its opener. The guard had a strong offseason, culminating in a great performance during the Bluejays' exhibition match against Purdue in which he dropped 24 points. As a result of his absence, Steven Ashworth will likely see an uptick in his minutes.
NOVEMBER 6, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Excellent during exhibition game Isaacs (hip) logged 24 points (10-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt) and six assists across 29 minutes during Creighton's exhibition game Saturday against Purdue.
Impact Isaacs was Creighton's leading scorer as the Bluejays defeated a ranked Purdue in exhibition action. Among their team, he was one of two players to log more than five assists, with Steven Ashworth being the other. Now, Issacs can say he has positive momentum going into the 2024-25 Bluejays' season opener, currently scheduled for Nov. 6 against Texas Rio Grande Valley.

The point guard is coming off an excellent season with the Red Raiders, averaging 15.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He's in line to be in Creighton's starting five as long as he can reach full strength by the regular season.
