Impact In an exhibition match that had blowout written all over it, Evans scored all 14 of his points in the first half of the game. Evans was coming off of a 17-point performance in the teams first preseason game. The senior averaged just 5.1 points and 2.0 rebounds last season and while his preseason performances have been very encouraging, he'll almost certainly face competition much harder moving forward in the season.

Scores career-high 24 points Evans scored 24 points (9-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT) while adding six rebounds, two assists and a steal across 19 minutes in Wednesday's win over NC State.

Impact Evans looked impressive in his first start of the season, and he paced the Seminoles with his season-best 24-point output -- he only needed 19 minutes to accomplish that goal and only missed two shots all game long. Evans might not be able to sustain this kind of production on a game-to-game basis, but this is undoubtedly going to boost his confidence. He might have done enough to remain in the lineup for Saturday's contest against North Carolina.
