The 6-foot-3 freshman connected on 9-of-13 looks from the field, closing with a season-high 29 points, five rebounds, an assist and a block during Saturday's win over the Ducks. Richardson, who is averaging 10.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, two assists and 0.7 steals on 22.3 minutes per game, may have just played himself into a more consistent role with this stellar outing against the Ducks, but either way, the future of the program is in good hands.

Kohler has worked his way into the Spartans' starting lineup in his third season with the program and his ability to make contributions on both ends of the floor has been of value to a surging Michigan State team.
