Brennan Rigsby - Logs 16 points as backup
Rigsby logged 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal across his 28 minutes during Oregon's 82-71 win Monday against Georgia.
Impact
Rigsby and N'Faly Dante were Oregon's best scorers Monday. However, perhaps what made the former's 16 points more impressive is that he fed off positive momentum most would not expect from him. Rigsby scored more than 15 points only once during Oregon's 2022-23 season. Like anybody, he wants to be a regular starter. With his impressive output Monday, Rigsby should be inching closer at the very least.

Jermaine Couisnard - Scores 14 points
Couisnard logged 14 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five assists, four rebounds and two steals across his 28 minutes during Oregon's 82-71 win Monday against Georgia.
Impact
Couisnard is already on par with what fantasy managers should expect from him. He averaged 12-to-13 points during three of his first four seasons. Now, the question is whether or not Couisnard can replicate said feat across a full campaign. Separate knee and shoulder injuries limited him to 19 games during his first season enrolled at Oregon.

Jesse Zarzuela - Picks up start in opener
Zarzurela is listed in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Georgia, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.
Impact
Zarzuela will start in his first game with the Ducks. He is coming off a strong season at Central Michigan in which he averaged 16.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers per contest. The Ducks have a deep backcourt this season so it will be interesting to see how they split up the minutes in the opener.

N'Faly Dante - Available against Georgia
Dante (knee) is available for Oregon's game Monday against Georgia, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Dante being available means Oregon's team will have its center for a relatively difficult opener Monday. He averaged 13.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks across his 31 games (30 started) during the Ducks' 2022-23 season. Expecting to remain a starter for the third season in a row, Dante should have no problems exemplifying his prowess for the Oregon team again in this campaign.

Brennan Rigsby - Good to go for opener
Rigsby (finger) will be available for Monday's game against Georgia, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Rigsby has been dealing with a finger injury that dates back to the end of last season. He was a solid piece off the bench last season for coach Dana Altman and should play the same kind of role in the 2023-24 campaign.

Jermaine Couisnard - Will suit up in opener
Couisnard (concussion) will be available for Monday's game against Georgia, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Couisnard was in concussion protocol, but it now clear and will be out there for the Ducks in one of the few Power 5 matchups on opening night. Couisnard had a solid first season with Oregon last year after coming over from South Carolina. He is expected to handle a starting role yet again.

Jermaine Couisnard - In concussion protocol
Couisnard (concussion) has been out of practice since last Thursday due to concussion protocol, James Crepea of The Oregonian.
Impact
Couisnard, last season's second-leading scorer at 12.8 points per game, has been in concussion protocol since last Thursday. He said he can begin shooting on Wednesday which gives him a good shot to suit up in Monday's season opener versus Georgia if he does not suffer any setbacks. Still, his status is worth monitoring ahead of the Ducks' opener in Las Vegas.

Jackson Shelstad - Misses practice with knee soreness
Shelstad (knee) missed Tuesday's practice but has a good chance to be ready for Monday's season opener versus Georgia, James Crepea of The Oregonian reports.
Impact
Shelstad did not participate in Tuesday's practice due to "a little knee soreness" but head coach Dana Altman said he will be evaluated further on Wednesday or Thursday and is optimistic about his chances to be back on the court this week. The freshman who was a four-star recruit out of West Linn, Oregon, will likely serve as Keeshawn Barthelemy's backup at point guard to start the season.

Brennan Rigsby - Doesn't feature Sunday
Rigsby (finger) didn't feature in Sunday's 76-55 exhibition win over Southern Oregon.
Impact
Rigsby's status is unclear for the 2023-24 season opener against Georgia, but the fact that he was absent in this scrimmage is certainly not a good sign for him.
