Marchelus Avery - Totals 22 points in loss Avery contributed 22 points (7-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 85-57 loss to Kansas State.
Impact Avery led the way off the bench for the Cowboys, converting on all but one of his eight shots on the way to a 22-point performance. It was the second time in three games Avery reached the 20-point mark though those two performances were sandwiched around a bagel in his last outing. The senior forward is averaging 11.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.8 blocks across 23.0 minutes during conference play.

Coleman Hawkins - Fills up stat sheet Hawkins provided 15 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, three blocks and three steals in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 85-57 victory over Oklahoma State.
Impact Hawkins showed off his full arsenal during Kansas State's blowout victory, falling one rebound shy of a double-double while adding six assists, three blocks and three steals. It was the fourth time this season Hawkins has contributed at least 10/5/5 in a contest and the third time he's done so while adding multiple thefts and blocked shots. The senior center has been especially impressive over the last five games, averaging 12.2 points, 7.4 boards, 6.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks across 33.0 minutes.

Khalil Brantley - Playing time dwindling Brantley supplied two points (1-1 FG), one assist and two steals over 10 minutes during Sunday's 64-54 loss to Texas Tech.
Impact Brantley started 14 of the first 15 games of the season for the Cowboys and offered modest production, logging 7.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists over that span. He then came off the bench for two games January 14 and 18, recording 17 minutes in each to go along with a combined nine points. He was then absent entirely Jan. 21 against Arizona without an explanation, but returned Sunday against Texas Tech to record a season-low 10 minutes. There hasn't been any indication of an injury, and Brantley's limited run has coincided directly with a slow start to Big 12 play, as the Cowboys are just 2-6 to begin the conference season.
