Marchelus Avery - Provides spark off bench Avery chipped in 15 points (5-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 27 minutes during Friday's 80-74 win over Miami (FL).
Impact Avery provided a spark off the bench Friday, finishing as one of only two Cowboys to score in double-figures while leading the team with eight rebounds, including four on the offensive end. The senior forward has scored at least 10 points in four of five games despite coming off the bench, needing just 23.0 minutes per game to average 13.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.6 steals.
NOVEMBER 22, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Khalil Brantley - Posts season-high 16 Brantley closed with 16 points (6-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals in 27 minutes during Thursday's 86-78 loss to Florida Atlantic.
Impact Brantley posted season-highs with 16 points and three steals while also filling out the rest of the stat sheet with four boards, three assists and one blocked shot. It was the best performance of the season for the transfer from LaSalle, who has started each of the first four games this season for Oklahoma State after he had started 62 of 65 games the last two seasons with the Explorers. Brantley averaged 15.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.5 steals across 35.9 minutes last season in the Atlantic 10 and despite seeing a precipitous dip in production and playing time has maintained a solid contribution in his first season in the Big 12, averaging 9.8 points, 3.5 boards, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals across 22.5 minutes per game.
NOVEMBER 22, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Robert Jennings - Career night Jennings closed with 16 points (5-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds and one steal over 28 minutes during Thursday's 86-78 loss to Florida Atlantic.
Impact Jennings posted his first career double-double, setting career-best marks in both scoring and on the glass. The junior forward had previously contributed a total of 19 points and nine rebounds across an average of 18.3 minutes during the first three games of the season but played a season-high 28 minutes during his career night.

Brandon Newman - Scores 18 off bench Newman recorded 18 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT) and three steals in 21 minutes during Thursday's 85-78 victory over Southern Illinois.
Impact Newman came off the bench to contribute a season-high 18 points, shooting 77.8% from the floor and 75% from three. He also added three steals after having posted just eight points and one steal across 40 minutes combined through the first two games. Newman started 30 out of 88 games through three seasons with Purdue prior to transferring to Western Kentucky, where he started all 34 games, averaging 10.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 25.6 minutes. He posted a career-high 29 points as a freshman with Purdue in 2020 and is capable of putting up a few random big performances off the bench this season for the Cowboys.
NOVEMBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Abou Ousmane - Scores 18 off bench Ousmane (not injury related) racked up 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals across 25 minutes during Thursday's 85-78 win over Sout...
Impact Ousmane made his return to the floor Thursday after missing Sunday's game due to a violation of team rules. He did not start Thursday but he still made a massive impact as he tied for the team lead in scoring. He also put in great work on the defensive end as he made three steals and blocked two shots. He should return to the starting five next Thursday at Florida Atlantic.
NOVEMBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Connor Dow - Not starting Thursday Dow is not starting Thursday's game versus Southern Illinois, Marshall Scott of Pistols Firing reports.
Impact Dow started the Cowboys last game but only played 10 minutes, so it's not surprising that he will return to the bench Thursday. Patrick Suemnick joins the starting five as Dow's replacement.
NOVEMBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Patrick Suemnick - Enters starting five Suemnick is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Southern Illinois, Marshall Scott of Pistols Firing reports.
Impact Suemnick will make his first career start as a Cowboy after transferring over from West Virginia in the summer. The senior forward is averaging 6.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per game early on and will share minutes with Connor Dow and Abou Ousmane (not injury related) if he's active.
NOVEMBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Abou Ousmane - Not starting Thursday Ousmane (not injury related) is not starting Thursday's game versus Southern Illinois, Marshall Scott of Pistols Firing reports.
Impact Ousmane missed the Cowboys' last game due to a violation of team rules and is now not in the starting lineup Thursday. It's unclear if he will see any action Thursday or if his suspension will cost him another game.
NOVEMBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Abou Ousmane - Expected to be available Thursday Ousmane (not injury related) is expected to be available for Thursday's game against Southern Illinois, Marshall Scott of Pistols Firing reports.
Impact Head coach Steve Lutz confirmed earlier in the week that Ousmane's absence Sunday was because of a violation of team rules. The Xavier transfer started the season opener, posting 16 points and eight rebounds in 20 minutes. Connor Dow got the start in Ousmane's place and only saw 10 minutes, as it's likely the Cowboys reinsert Ousmane back into the starting five to give them some more size.

Arturo Dean - Shows off Swiss-Army skillset Dean ended with four points (2-4 FG, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and four steals over 25 minutes during Sunday's 80-71 victory over St. Thomas (MN).
Impact Dean played 25 minutes off the bench and led the team in rebounding and assists while also chipping in four steals on the defensive end. The junior transfer from Florida International has seen court time as the backup point guard and despite the 5'11" frame and has shown the ability to contribute in a multitude of ways. Dean's coming off a season in which he contributed 3.4 steals per game to lead the nation and his performance on the glass thus far is not too much of an outlier as he averaged just over five per game last season with FIU.
NOVEMBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Marchelus Avery - Explodes for 23 off bench Avery contributed 23 points (8-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), three rebounds, one assist and three steals in 25 minutes during Sunday's 80-71 win over St. Thomas (MN).
Impact Avery came off the bench to pace the Cowboys with 23 points in 25 minutes while chipping in three steals. The senior transfer from UCF thrown up 25 shots through two games with Sunday's performance representing the much more efficient outing. Avery posted 7.6 points and 4.0 rebounds across 17.7 minutes per game last season for UCF and is poised to play a vital role as a primary scorer off the bench for Oklahoma State this season.

Abou Ousmane - Out Sunday Ousmane (undisclosed) is out for Oklahoma State's matchup against St. Thomas, per Parker Gerl of The O'Colly.
Impact Ousmane was seen sitting off to the side during warmups and is out for Sunday's game with an undisclosed injury. The senior forward played a big role in the Cowboys' season opener against Green Bay, logging 16 points and eight rebounds. The former Xavier transfer will hope to hasten his recovery and make himself available for Thursday's game against Southern Illinois.

Abou Ousmane - Provides inside punch in team debut Ousmane provided 16 points (5-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block over 20 minutes during Monday's 89-76 victory over Green Bay.
Impact Ousmane put together an impressive line during his first game in Stillwater, including draining just his second career three-pointer. The senior transfer from Xavier started 29 of 34 games for the Muskateers last season, averaging 6.7 points and 6.4 rebounds. While the triple does not likely represent an addition to his game, he should provide a nice inside presence around the rim for Oklahoma State this season.
NOVEMBER 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Bryce Thompson - Leads team with 22 points Thompson accumulated 22 points (9-13 FG, 4-5 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and two steals over 30 minutes during Monday's 89-76 win over Green Bay.
Impact Thompson began his senior season on the right foot, putting together an efficient performance that landed him just one point shy of a career high. Thompson is the only returning starter for Oklahoma State and has averaged double figure scoring totals in each of his previous three seasons with the Cowboys, though he's shot below 40% from the floor in each of the last two. If Monday's performance is an indication that increased scoring efficiency is on the horizon, Thompson could be in for a nice spike in production during his final collegiate season.
NOVEMBER 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Andrija Vukovic - Doesn't play Monday Vukovic (back) didn't play in Monday's win over Green Bay.
Impact Vukovic was warming up before the season opener Monday, but the big man didn't see the court as the Cowboys raced to a 13-point victory over the Phoenix. Vukovic's next chance to play will come against St. Thomas (MN) on Sunday.

Andrija Vukovic - Warming up Monday Vukovic is warming up ahead of Monday's game versus Wisconsin-Green Bay, Marshall Scott of Pistols Firing reports.
Impact Vukovic missed the Cowboys' most recent scrimmage due to a back injury, putting his status for Monday's opener in question. The fact that he's warming up is certainly a good sign for him, although it does not guarantee his availability.
