Markus Burton - Racks up 28 Burton amassed 28 points (12-26 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 38 minutes during Saturday's 77-69 loss to Syracuse.
Impact It was Burton's best scoring effort since returning from a knee injury in January, which appears to be fully behind him, as he's now averaging 21.8 ppg across five contests in January. The outlook for the Irish may not be great, but Burton's tremendously high usage should ensure he remains an elite fantasy asset.

Donnie Freeman - Absent from starting five Freeman (lower leg) won't start for Syracuse on Saturday, Mike Waters of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.
Impact Freeman has started in 13 of the 14 games in which he's played this season, so his absence from the starting five likely means the forward will remain out for the Orange and miss his fourth straight game. Freeman, who averages 13.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists, will get his next chance to play on Jan. 22 against Clemson.
