Bacot delivers huge game for North Carolina: 21 pts, 4 ast, 13 reb

Armando Bacot - Another double-double Bacot finished with 21 points (9-17 FG, 3-7 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 31 minutes during Saturday's 81-64 win over Notre Dame.

Impact Bacot has been a two-way machine for the Tar Heels this season and recorded his fifth double-double across seven appearances since the start of December. One of the most dominant big men in the ACC -- and perhaps in the entire nation -- Bacot is averaging a career-high 18.8 points with 11.2 rebounds per game across 15 games in 2022-23.

Caleb Love - Solid performance in win Love had 18 points (6-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 81-64 win over Notre Dame.

Impact Love had two games to forget against Pittsburgh and Wake Forest, tallying a combined 14 points on 6-for-24 from the field in those games, but he bounced back admirably here even if the shooting woes are persistent. The high volume of field goals per game is saving Love right now, but he's still managed to score at least 17 points in four of his last six appearances.

Nate Laszewski - Sniffs double-double Laszewski registered 17 points (7-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and eight rebounds in 34 minutes during Saturday's 81-64 loss to North Carolina.

Impact Laszewski bounced back from three straight games scoring in single digits, and he also ended just two rebounds away from recording what would've been his fourth double-double of the season -- something he hasn't accomplished since his third game of the season all the way back to Nov. 16. He's averaging 11.1 points and 7.0 boards per contest since the start of December.

JJ Starling - Scores 10 with 10 shots Starling closed Saturday's 81-64 loss to North Carolina with 10 points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals across 30 minutes.

Impact Starling didn't have his best shooting performance, but he still ended as one of Notre Dame's best players in a double-digit loss to the Tar Heels. He has now scored in double digits in all but one of his last eight appearances.
