Chance Mallory - Shines off bench Friday Mallory ended with 16 points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-10 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and two steals across 25 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 83-78 victory over Northwestern.

Impact Mallory has scored in double digits in three of his five outings this season. He's also looked good on the defensive end with multiple steals in every game so far. The freshman hasn't started a single game yet, but he's still averaging a healthy 11.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.6 steals per game.

Thijs De Ridder - Another dominant display De Ridder chipped in 26 points (9-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-9 FT), eight rebounds and one block in 27 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 83-78 win over Northwestern.

Impact De Ridder was expected to be one of the top freshmen in the ACC this season, but he's surpassing those expectations, and he posted another outstanding display in this win over Northwestern. De Ridder is averaging 19.0 points per game this season and has scored at least 20 points in four of his five outings thus far.
