Impact Pippen didn't play in Saturday's win over Northwestern State for undisclosed reasons. He has avoided serious injury, and he'll be day-to-day ahead of Friday's matchup with Morgan State. The star sophomore is averaging 15.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.7 combined steals-plus-blocks across 30.3 minutes per game.

Impact It's unclear why the star guard didn't suit up, but Pippen missed his first game of the year against Northwestern State. He's stepped up immensely in his sophomore year, averaging 15.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists across 10 games this season. His next chance to play will come against Morgan State on Dec. 19.

Impact Carr got elevated to the starting lineup with teammate Justin Pippen (undisclosed) sidelined, and the freshman guard made the most of his opportunities. Carr not only logged his second straight game with double-digit points, but he reached a career-high 14 points and seven assists. While the 6-foot-1 guard's starting status should be contingent on Pippen's injury moving forward, Carr has most definitely shown that he deserves to be playing meaningful minutes on the court.
