ImpactThis is the type of performance fantasy players have been waiting for throughout the month of December, though it's a bit concerning that it only came against a much lesser opponent. Tshiebwe has been generally inconsistent this season, due occasionally to foul trouble, but also to the play of Gabe Osabuohien off the bench. The Mountaineers did take a hit to their post depth with the announcement that Isaiah Cottrell (Achilles) would miss the rest of the season, but his 5.6 mpg shouldn't move the needle much for Tshiebwe. The good news here is that this is a glimmer of hope for players rostering Tshiebwe, as his fantasy stock had otherwise been plummeting heading into Big 12 play.

ImpactCottrell suffered an injury in Tuesday's matchup against Northeastern, and he'll be out for the rest of his freshman season as a result. The 6-foot-10 center appeared in each of the first 10 games of his collegiate career, averaging 1.6 points and 1.4 rebounds over 5.6 minutes per contest.
