Armando Bacot - Efficient double-double Bacot supplied 22 points (10-11 FG, 2-5 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 27 minutes during Friday's 94-87 win over Brown.

Impact Bacot only played 18 minutes in the season opener and didn't do too much, but he looked far better in this one -- he only missed one of his 11 shots en route to his first double-double of the campaign. Bacot is expected one of the most productive big men in the ACC, and this performance should only boost his stock going forward.

RJ Davis - Explodes for 26 points Davis produced 26 points (9-17 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and six assists in 36 minutes during Friday's 94-87 win over Brown.

Impact Davis had scored just six points in the season opener, but he came out of nowhere with an impressive -- particularly when it comes to his three-point shooting -- to lead the Tar Heels in a game that turned out to be far more complicated than expected. While Davis is not going to score around the 20-point mark on a regular basis, he shouldn't have problems being one of the Tar Heels' main scorers in most games.

Impact Love was a key piece for the Tar Heels last season and seems ready to handle an even bigger role this time around, as he led UNC in scoring while also delivering quite a few eye-popping plays in the season opener. His passing numbers should eventually improve and he's not likely to score around 20 points on a regular basis, but his role as a key figure for the Tar Heels is all but secure.

Impact Manek averaged just 10.8 points and 5.0 rebounds last season but was poised to have a better year in 2021-22, and while one game is too small of a sample to measure, he could very well operate as one of the team's main scoring weapons given how involved he was across the board. He should see steady minutes on a frontcourt that lost names such as Sterling Manley, Armando Bacot and Garrison Brooks compared to last season's roster.
