Cameron Matthews - Pulls down 14 boards Matthews provided seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 75-49 victory over North Alabama.
Impact Matthews saw 10 starts in 31 appearances for the Bulldogs last season, so it's not too surprising to see him get the nod with presumed starters Tolu Smith (foot) and Rocket Watts (hip) both sidelined. It also seems as if the 6-7 wing could have a big role helping out on the glass, at least until Smith returns and they shift to a taller lineup. Smith also made contributions in the ancillary categories that fantasy players crave, though his five field goal attempts were the second-fewest of any Bulldogs starters.

Garrison Brooks - Heavy usage out of the gates Brooks totaled 18 points (8-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 75-49 win over North Alabama.
Impact Brooks already seems to be right at home with his new team, taking more shots than any other Bulldogs player in the lopsided victory. This type of usage is something that could absolutely continue in the short term, especially with Tolu Smith likely out a few more games while working his way back from a foot procedure he underwent back in September. The Bulldogs are also missing presumed starting point guard Rocket Watts, so this is a team that could do some damage in the SEC once they get healthy.
