JT Toppin - Steps into starting five Toppin is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against St. Mary's.

Impact Toppin will enter the starting lineup in place of Jaelen House who will miss Thursday's contest with a hip injury. Toppin impressed in his first career collegiate game Monday against Texas Southern, finishing with 11 points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 18 minutes. The 6-9 freshman will have a much tougher test ahead of him versus the No. 23 Gaels.

Jaelen House - Not dressed Thursday House will be sidelined for Thursday's game against St. Mary's due to an apparent hip injury, Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal reports.

Impact House missed some time in preseason with a lower body injury but was able to participate in the team's season opener during which he accumulated eight points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four assists, two rebounds, two steals and a block in 18 minutes during a blowout win over Texas Southern. It's unclear when this hip issue came about and how serious the injury might be. House will have a week to recover before the Lobos take the floor again Nov. 16 against UT-Arlington.
