Impact Avdalas had eight points and nine assists in the season-opening win over Charleston Southern on Monday, but he showed his full array of offense in this contest. One of the most hyped freshmen in the ACC this season, Avdalas should become one of Virginia Tech's go-to weapons on offense sooner rather than later.

Impact Avdalas finished just two points and one assist away from recording a double-double in his college debut. He attempted 13 shots, including six threes, so he might have enough volume on a steady basis to be a regular scoring weapon for the Hokies. The nine dimes were a nice thing to see as well, as Avdalas didn't need a lot of time to adjust to the pace of the college ranks after spending the 2024-25 season playing pro hoops in Greece.
