Tre Mitchell - Hits three three-pointers in win Mitchell registered 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt), six rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 85-64 victory over Navy.
Impact Mitchell notched his best all-around shooting performance of the season, logging season highs in field goals and three-pointers made. After coming off the bench for the first two games of the season, the 6-foot-9 senior been a consistent presence in the Mountaineers' starting frontcourt, averaging 13.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists over the last seven games. He's also shot an efficient 56.3 percent while taking 7.1 of his 9.1 field-goal attempts per game from within the arc. Mitchell should continue to serve as one of West Virginia's top scoring options against UAB on Saturday.
