Already an incredibly efficient three-point shooter (40.9 percent in 2024-25), Heise will resume his sharpshooter role this season, seemingly in a starting capacity. However, it's worth noting the Cyclones have been playing without projected leading scorer Tamin Lipsey (knee) in exhibition play, and considering he has a good chance to be available for the Nov. 3 opener, Lipsey will likely take away touches and usage from Heise and the rest of the Iowa State backcourt once meaningful games commence.
