Double-double off bench Cisse posted 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in 22 minutes during Saturday's 78-77 win over Tulane.
Impact Cisse was limited to just four points and four rebounds due to foul trouble in the AAC quarterfinal victory over Wichita State, but he bounced back with a double-double here. The senior has still been productive despite losing the starting center job to Dain Dainja in January, as this was his second double-double over that time period. He's been particularly effective on the defensive end, recording a block in eight consecutive games and averaging 2.3 rejections per contest during that stretch.
MARCH 15 • ROTOWIRE
Not part of starting lineup Cisse is not part of Memphis' starting lineup the team will use for its game Sunday against UAB.
Impact Between late-November and Sunday, Dain Dainja averaged 12.0 points and 6.3 rebounds. He will be Memphis' starting center against UAB. Dainja replaced Cisse, whose aforementioned span's point average is less than 5.0.
JANUARY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Starting Thursday Cisse is starting Thursday's game at San Francisco, Parth Upadhyaya of DailyMemphian.com reports.
Impact Cisse is starting his first game of the season Thursday after impressing during his first three games off the bench. He is averaging 8.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 16.7 minutes per game, so he will likely up those numbers with more playing time.
NOVEMBER 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Force off bench for Memphis Cisse closed Monday's 83-75 win over Missouri with 14 points (4-8 FG, 6-10 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 19 minutes.
Impact While it was Dain Dainja who picked up the start at center and played more minutes, the impact of Cisse was felt greater on both ends of the court. Cisse was a regular starter in all three previous destinations, and is now back to Memphis, where his career began. He's clearly came out with a purpose in hopes of finding his first ever NCAA Tournament berth in 2024-25, his fifth and final collegiate season.
NOVEMBER 4, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Available for exhibition game Cisse (groin) is available for Memphis' exhibition game Monday against Alabama, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Fortunately for Cisse, just under two weeks between Memphis' latest and upcoming exhibition was enough to recover from his groin injury, which he had been battling across much of October. Ideally, Monday gives at least somewhat of an indication as to what role he will have for the Tigers following his college transfer from Mississippi.
OCTOBER 28, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Sits out team exhibition Cisse (groin) did not play during Memphis' team exhibition Tuesday against North Carolina.
Impact According to Parth Upadhyaya of The Daily Memphian, Cisse was ruled out before Memphis' exhibition game, with the reason for his DNP not specified. Currently, the 2024-25 Tigers have one more exhibition scheduled before their regular-season opener. The preseason game is scheduled for Oct. 28 against Alabama.
OCTOBER 15, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Dealing with groin issue Cisse has a groin injury, according to Jason Munz of The Memphis Commercial Appeal.
Impact Cisse's groin injury will cause him to be questionable for Memphis' first of multiple preseason games the team has scheduled. The 2024-25 Tigers will play their first non-official game together against North Carolina on Oct. 15 in the Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic.
OCTOBER 3, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Five rejections Saturday Cisse registered 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-7 FT), six rebounds, one assist, five blocks and one steal in 25 minutes during Saturday's 72-59 loss to South Carolina.
Impact Cisse was limited by foul trouble in each of his last two outings, but he managed to stay on the court in this one and record season highs in scoring and blocks. He now has one or more rejection in each of his last six games and is averaging 1.5 bpg on the year. It's enough to give him a sliver of fantasy value in rotisserie formats that include blocks.
FEBRUARY 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Impresses in win Cisse posted nine points (3-3 FG, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one steal across 19 minutes during Saturday's 69-56 win over Vanderbilt.
Impact Cisse made all three of his field goal attempts during Saturday's win over Vanderbilt. The senior missed just one shot that occurred at the free-throw line which was the only miss he had all game. Expect the center to look to score more after a near perfect offensive outing against Vanderbilt.
JANUARY 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out Monday Cisse (not injury related) will be inactive for Monday's opener against Alabama State, Jared Redding of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Cisse has yet to receive an NCAA waiver for the 2023-24 season following his second collegiate transfer. The senior center, who appeared in 32 games (20 starts) with Oklahoma State in 2022, will need to receive NCAA clearance to appear in Friday's game against Eastern Washington.

Starts final six games Cisse posted 13 points (6-6 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and one block in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 65-59 OT loss to North Texas.
Impact Cisse started his sixth game in a row to close the Cowboys' 2022-23 campaign. Over this span, the 7-foot-1 junior averaged 8.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks while playing 26.5 minutes per game. Cisse had much of his season derailed and hampered due to a pair of lingering lower-body injuries. As a result, he started a career-low 20 games across 32 appearances, and he should now have two remaining seasons of collegiate eligibility.
MARCH 22, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Nine rebounds, four blocks Cisse amassed six points (3-4 FG, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and four blocks over 35 minutes during Saturday's 71-68 win over Texas Tech.
Impact Cisse's eight defensive rebounds and four blocks helped the 2022-23 Cowboys win their last regular-season game. Now, they will prepare for the 2023 Big Ten Tournament. Currently, their first matchup is scheduled against in-state rival Oklahoma.
MARCH 5, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Starting Saturday Cisse (leg) will start in Saturday's game against Texas Tech.
Impact Cisse, who has been dealing with a leg injury, will be available on Saturday. The 7-foot-1 junior is averaging 6.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and two blocks on 21.6 minutes per game this season.
MARCH 4, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable to play Saturday Cisse (leg) is a game-time decision to play Saturday at Texas Tech, Jon Walker at The News reports.
Impact The center is questionable to play in Saturday's game against Texas Tech with a leg injury. The Cowboys are hoping they can have their big man, as he is averaging 6.5 points and 7.9 rebounds this season.
MARCH 4, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Exits game with leg injury Cisse (leg) exited Monday's game against Baylor with a left leg injury, Jacob Unruh of The Oklahoman reports.
Impact Cisse was unable to return to the contest, but tallied six points (2-5 FG, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds and one block prior to exiting the game. The 7-foot-1 junior, who has averaged 6.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and two blocks on 21.6 minutes per game, will likely be a game-time decision for Saturday's game against Texas Tech.
FEBRUARY 28, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Productive in steep loss Cisse posted eight points (3-4 FG, 2-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block across 21 minutes during Monday's 85-67 loss to West Virginia.
Impact Cisse came off the bench for his 10th game in a row Monday. The former starting center has averaged 6.7 points and 6.7 rebounds while playing 21.1 minutes across his last seven appearances. However, the 7-foot-1 junior did see more extensive playing time than starting big man Kalib Boone for the second consecutive contest, as the latter played just six minutes Monday after logging 10 minutes in Saturday's 100-75 loss to TCU. Cisse will look to continue playing near-starting level minutes Saturday against Kansas State.

Solid stats off the bench Cisse logged four points (2-4 FG, 0-5 FT), eight rebounds and two blocks over 23 minutes during Saturday's 64-56 win over Iowa State.
Impact Cisse came off the bench for the seventh time in the last eight games, as he's fallen out of the starting lineup since missing three consecutive games with an ankle injury. While it's unclear if he's still dealing with this ankle issue, the 7-foot-1 junior has been able to play 20.5 minutes per game over his last four outings. He's also averaged 8.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks over that span. However, Cisse's overall value will still remain limited so long as he continues to serve a reserve role behind fellow Iowa State big men Kalib Boone and Woody Newton.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Plays 21 minutes off the bench Cisse logged six points (3-6 FG, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 21 minutes during Saturday's 79-73 win over TCU.
Impact Cisse logged his most extensive playing time since going down with an ankle injury Jan. 2 against West Virginia. While the 7-foot-1 senior has come off the bench while appearing in five of the last six games, he's seen his playing time steadily increase while working his way back during this span. Cisse also logged 18 points and five rebounds in just 18 minutes during Wednesday's 71-61 win against Oklahoma. Therefore, it could be a matter of time before he returns to the starting lineup ahead of junior Woody Newton. Oklahoma State will next play this coming Wednesday versus Texas Tech, the latter of which has gone 1-9 in Big 12 play this season.
FEBRUARY 4, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to floor Cisse (ankle) entered Saturday's game against Mississippi off the bench, Cody Nagel of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Cisse was forced to miss Tuesday's loss to Texas due to an ankle issue. After warming up prior to Saturday's game he wasn't in the starting lineup. However, he entered the game midway through the first half and appears to have recovered from the injury.
JANUARY 28, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
DNP because of injury Cisse (ankle) did not play during the Cowboys' 89-75 loss Tuesday at Texas, according to Jacob Unruh of The Oklahoman.
Impact Oklahoma State's head coach Mike Boynton previously said Cisse's recurring ankle injury was a "scare" presumably not worth being worried about. Yet, he was forced to sit out Tuesday. Currently, Cisse's next opportunity to return is when the Cowboys host Mississippi on Saturday.
