Transferring to UTSA Njie is transferring to Texas-San Antonio for the 2024-25 season, he announced via X.

Impact Njie saw a huge dip in production after transferring to SMU after his freshman season with Eastern Michigan. The 6-foot-11 big man averaged less than two points and two rebounds with SMU in the last two seasons, so he'll get a fresh start as he joins the Roadrunners squad this upcoming campaign.

Scores 14 points off bench Njie produced 14 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 FT) and six rebounds over 20 minutes during Sunday's 97-74 loss to Cincinnati.

Impact Njie set a new season high in both points and rebounds in Sunday's blowout loss. The sophomore center has not seen much playing time this season, averaging 5.8 minutes per game in 24 appearances. Njie was able to get tons of playing time in the blowout, making the most of his minutes with a great shooting performance from the field and from the line. His playing time in Sunday's regular season finale is an encouraging sign for his playing time next season.

Impact Njie missed the season opener due to a sprained ankle but appeared in each of the last two games and has made a nice impact on the boards with 13 rebounds over 35 minutes. This he 6-10 freshman should continue to play a consistent role off the bench and will look to stay busy in the paint.
